About Sealed-Bid Sales
A sealed-bid sale puts qualified buyers in competition for a defined parcel of standing timber. Each buyer reviews the same cruise data and sale conditions, then submits a written bid by a published deadline. Bids are opened together, reported to the landowner, and the landowner decides whether to award. The structure is the cleanest way we know to expose a tract to real market competition while keeping the landowner in control of the decision.
